We have several Ministries to be involved in at HGBC, here are a few examples.
Sunday School - 10am - We have a class for all ages from birth to the Golden Years.
Senior Citizen Ministry - As a vital part of any church, our Seniors at HGBC are just as important and are a great source of encouragement and information to all in our church. This group has a fellowship time and often go to eat with one another.
Youth Ministry - growing - come help us grow for the LORD JESUS!
Primary Church - This group meets in one of our Sunday School classrooms and is for ages Three thru Five
Junior Church - Meets in the Fellowship Hall during our 11am service on Sunday morning for ages (6-12).
We also offer Nursery service for all our services.
Bus/Van Ministry
Bus Captains and Drivers - Bro. Philip Grant - Thomasville route
Bro. Shorty Hicks - Thomasville route
Bro. Danny Husted - Lexington route
Bro. Daniel Hicks - Lexington route
Visitation Program
Sound Room: Bro. Sonny Bennett
The Pastor recently had a meeting with most of the men of the church and started what we are calling the "Upper Room Men" group. This group will meet monthly and be encouraged to be very active in the church and with the different ministries at Hughes Grove. We are very excited about this new program and what God is going to do with the men of our church. "Upper Room" Men are praying men / United men / Concerned men / Faithful men / Spirit-filled men / and Mission minded men. |
